EPILOGUE

By now, you can see the name of this essay could have been “A little leaven leavens the whole lump,” or “Big oaks from little acorns grow.” For some men to reject Genesis 1:1 would seem like a harmless operation, which might be confined to “differences in religious belief” or “differences in faith,” but it doesn’t turn out that way. The rejection of Genesis 3:1–5—Origen, all popes, Westcott and Hort, and all Catholic universities reject it as a literal, historical account—may seem like only a matter of “religion,” “choice,” or “preference” (see any copy of an ASV, RSV, NRSV, NASV, NIV, NKJV on 2 Tim. 2:15; 1 Tim. 6:5, 9, 10, 20; Acts 4:27, etc.); but it turns out to be a matter of literal life, literal death, and literal freedom or literal slavery.

You were supposed to have gotten your “equal rights” from GOD. Without God—see the atheists in the Boy Scouts—who gives you your “freedoms”? That’s easy; whoever is in power. That’s why revolution is the recommended solution in the Communist’s system, except that no Communist leader believed anyone had the right to revolt when he (the “Communist”) was in power. The man who is “right” is the man who can keep a revolution down to maintain his own “rights.” Moral RIGHT and WRONG have no bearing on either man. “Good and evil” are not in the operation one time from start to finish, for all “truth is relative” (i.e., either side can prove it is “right”) and “man is the measure of all things” (i.e., God never gave any standard for judging which side was right). Result? “Me first, you next,” while talking about “compassionate caring”; “survival of the fittest,” while talking about “being sensitive to the needs of others”; and complete destruction of every right guaranteed under the Constitution in the name of “CIVIL RIGHTS.” Apartheid: you take the rights of 250,000,000 people away from them by magnifying the rights of 10,000 people, or at times, 400 people, or (as in case after case after case) the “rights” of ONE person. Apartheid.

Once you question what God SAID (Gen. 3:1) as being SO, you must have a substitute for it (ASV, NASV, NIV, RSV, NRSV, NKJV, etc.). Who will make the substitution? Who is “top dog”? Who will assume the place of final authority? The volunteers are legion. All deny absolute truth. All deny that a Bible you can READ is the final authority. All will exalt an humanistic opinion or preference over something the Bible says, and over 90 percent of them (in any decade) will profess that Genesis 1–3 is a lie and that accidental, spontaneous generation from natural elements produced every form of complex life that is here. The mathematical chances of this taking place are one out of ten to the 1300th power.

Leave your brains on the table. Check you sanity out at the counter. It’s “fruitloop time” at the Funny Farm. Blow out the pilot light and play the game with forty-one cards. These are the “options” for rejecting God as Creator and Author of truth.
